I gave up a 240 just like this back then, and I missed it. I am the second owner, if you don't count the dealer's flipper. It was first purchased in Tucson by a school teacher who kept it in remarkable condition, having the car dealer serviced (I have the records). In 2011, she was ready for a new Volvo and traded this one in. That's when I bought it from the flipper and brought it to California. The car had 213,000 miles at the time. Now 7 years later, the odometer is 233,700. This has been my extra third car or if someone needed one for a while. High miles, yes, but really only two adult drivers. Two minutes behind the wheel and you'd like it as much as I do. I encourage you to test drive it or send a representative to do so. I live in San Diego, CA. So, last month, I picked up a 1971 Volvo 145S...someone has got to go. This 28 year old gem is not restored or repainted. ALL factory paint, except by the trunk lock where i used a touch up brush. Up for sale is my 1990 Volvo 240 DL. I have owned the car for four years and am sad to see it go. The reason I am selling is that I need the funds for a job relocation. The vehicle is in excellent condition with only 150,940 miles. The exterior is gray with black cloth interior, which I consider to be the best color combination for these cars. The vehicle is in perfect running condition and needs no service what so ever. The vehicle has brand new Michelin Defender tires (tread shown in pictures) and has been professionally retrofitted with a R134a AC unit (blows just under 60F). The oil has been changed every 5,000 miles and all of the service has been conducted by Volvo of Tempe and Sun Valley Imports (Tempe, AZ). I have records for all maintenance and those will go to the new owner. I meticulously maintain my vehicles and all recommended service has been performed. Due to the reason it is an older vehicle, I have spare parts that will be included in the sale (please see the list below). The vehicle has four custom cut rubber floor mats and a custom made windshield sunshade (HeatShield). All windows have 15% tint that was applied by Dan's Window Tint (5/5 stars and 246 review on Yelp, Phoenix AZ). The vehicle has an upgraded sound system to include: (4) Alpine speakers with tweeters (fronts larger than rears), 8 inch Infinity BassLink Subwoofer, and Kenwood eXcelon receiver with remote control (I still have old OEM receiver, which will be included).
